The man known as “The Matrix” isn’t the stat-sheet-stuffing, all-star-caliber player he once was, but he does have a new tattoo, and based on the content of this new tattoo, it looks like he still loves his life. Marion is set to make about 8 million dollars per season through 2014… I can see how figures like that would inspire someone to go and get such an optimistic tattoo. I kinda like it. It’s certainly a lot better than the “Mr. Marion” one right below it, which looks like it could’ve been drawn by the same dude that drew Richard Jefferson’s tattoo.

Speaking of Shawn Marion, it’s kind of funny to think back on how he was a 16/10 player back in 07/08 with the Phoenix Suns, and here he is just a couple years (and a couple teams) later coming off a 12/6 season with Dallas… and all this dude wanted to do was leave Phoenix. Seems like he was better off right where he was, doesn’t it? Actually, maybe not, because he’s loving life now. That’s what really matters.
