Games To Watch, Week 19 (4/23-4/26)

Monday, April 23rd: Sixers @ Nets, 7:30 ET, NBALP: You’ve got to check out the last Nets game in the State of New Jersey, especially on a slow six-game night.  Be sure to watch it on the YES Network if given the option.  I figure they’ll be showing lots of Kidd-to-K-Mart clips during intermissions.  Hopefully we’ll get the someone-to-Gerald version during the game.

Tuesday, April 24th: Suns @ Jazz, 10:30 ET, TNT: Not only is this arguably the most important game left this regular season, but it could also be one of Steve Nash’s last as a Phoenix Sun.  Energy Solutions Arena is always rocking, and I’m sure the atmosphere will be even crazier given the circumstances.  The Jazz seem to get themselves involved in all sorts of wild finishes… hopefully this will be another overtime thriller.

Wednesday, April 25th: Clippers @ Knicks, 8:00 ET, ESPN: Both the Knicks and the Clippers are still battling for playoff position, so they’ll probably have a reason to play.  The Clippers really need to hold off the Grizzlies, who trail them by a single game.  You’ve all heard about Carmelo Anthony’s recent devastation, but I think Chris Paul has been playing like an MVP candidate.  Maybe we’ll see two of the league’s finest late-game performers become engaged in a back-and-forth crunch-time duel.

Thursday, April 26th: All Of The Above: It’s the last day of the season.  Twenty-six teams are in action, and you won’t be seeing half of them again until next fall.  Do your best to catch a little bit of everything.  Hone those channel-flippin’ skills!
