Monday, November 5th: Jazz @ Grizzlies, 8:00 ET, NBALP: This Jazz team is notorious for its struggles away from home, but I’m going to roll with them anyway. If Zach Randolph, Marc Gasol, Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap, Enes Kanter, Derrick Favors, and Marreese Speights fail to provide an interesting battle in the painted area… I’ll not only be surprised, but sorely disappointed.
Tuesday, November 6th: Pistons @ Nuggets, 9:00 ET, NBALP: With only three lopsided contests to choose from on this election day, I’m recommending the struggling Pistons going on the road to face the struggling Nuggets. Denver’s offense did come together a little bit in their loss to Miami, so maybe they’ll put on a Laker-like show against Detroit. That would be fun, right?
Wednesday, November 7th: Pacers @ Hawks, 7:30 ET, NBALP: I’ve selected this game for one reason and one reason only: to quench your thirst for athleticism. Based on the fact that you’re reading this blog, I’m assuming that watching people run fast and jump high is something that you like to enjoy on a weekly basis.
Thursday, November 8th: Clippers @ Blazers 10:30 ET, TNT: ROY hopeful Damian Lillard faces the test of a lifetime in the form of his first ever game against Chris Paul, who I believe to be the world’s premier point guard. Also, flash and fundamentals collide in the post as Blake Griffin takes on LaMarcus Aldridge, and former Blazer Jamal Crawford seeks his revenge.
Friday, November 9th: Mavericks @ Knicks, 7:30 ET, NBALP: The Knicks have been successful in both winning (2-0) and entertaining (102 PPG) through their first couple of games. Unfortunately, the Mavericks have waived Eddy Curry, which means there will be no triumphant return to The Garden. For this reason, I sincerely hope they lose.
Saturday, November 10th: Celtics @ Bucks, 8:30 ET, NBALP: As Brandon Jennings continues to ball out for the dough, Paul Pierce and the Celtics travel to Bradley Center in search of some payback. Kevin Garnett and Larry Sanders will likely engage in shenanigans while Monta Ellis aims to remind us that he still exists (he’s averaging just 18 PPG since leaving Golden State).
Sunday, November 11th: Kings @ Lakers, 9:30 ET, NBALP: It isn’t a Sunday evening without the LA Lakers. All the other games are over by the time they tip off, so you can simply relax and focus on the match up at hand. No matter the score, I love me a Laker game to cap off the week. It just ain’t right without the Sunday whites!
