POTD 4/16/12: Randy Foye on Serge Ibaka

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Randy Foye’s got those sneaky ups.  He dunks pretty easily and fairly frequently for a guy his size, yet it surprises the hell out of people every time he finishes with authority.  I’m not sure I’d go as far as to call Randy a “dunker,” but he has mashed six times on the year.  A single-digit figure may not seem very impressive, but you have to take his height (supposedly 6’4″, probably more like 6’2″) into consideration.  He’s tied for 14th in the league amongst players his stature, and that’s if we call him 6’4″.  If he’s 6’2″ or 6’3″ then he easily cracks the top 10.  I’m not trying to tell you the man is Russell Westbrook, ’cause he isn’t… but Randy Foye can get high enough to bang on the league’s leading shot blocker.

That’s all I’m saying.  Honorable mention to James Johnson.

Dunk rating on the Starbury Nastiness Scale:

8/10 Starbury Nasty Faces
