I’ve been an avid collector of authentic NBA jerseys for quite a few years now. I figure I must have at least 75 of them in my collection currently… but I’ve had to chill lately due to the new pricing that went into effect for this season. NBA.com’s shop is currently asking 250 bucks for an authentic STAT jersey. I haven’t yet been able to justify paying that much for a glorified sleeveless t-shirt… 179.99 was crazy enough, 250 is just… ridiculous. One would think they could at least make the numbers stay on for that amount of cash. For 250 bucks the damn thing should be hand-delivered by Amare himself.
