Poor Chris Bosh… the guy probably gets made fun of more than any other perennial All-Star in the league, and he hasn’t really done a damn thing to deserve it. It’s not his fault he looks like his former team’s mascot, and I don’t think it’s completely his fault that he’s just generally a really awkward guy.
As for Gary Payton, remember when he and Chris Webber were on NBAtv every Tuesday for Fan Night? Yeah, I think they need to bring them back. They were probably the most unprofessional duo in the history of major television programming, but that’s what I liked about ‘em. They were real casual in their demeanor and behaved as if they were just chillin’ in front of the TV, discussing ball, having a grand ol’ time. For this reason I think some viewers found them rather annoying and a tad ridiculous, but me? I thought they were brilliant. Over the top? Yeah… but brilliant nonetheless.
