Allen Iverson played his first game in Turkey earlier today… looks like he doesn’t get along with the European refs any better than he did with the American ones. Or maybe he was mad because he only scored 15 points in 23 minutes on 4-10 from the floor and 4-6 from the line, and his team, Besiktas, lost to KK Hemofarm by three. This probably wasn’t the debut that Iverson and his new Turkish fans dreamed of, but it’s his first game in a long time, so I guess a slow start is understandable. Iverson’s team doesn’t play again until the 23rd, I’ll keep you posted.
