Is Twitter not the greatest thing ever to hit the internet? I mean, seriously, how the hell else would we find out that TJ Ford has a blinged-out, multi-color, cartoon belt buckle? Without Twitter I suppose we simply wouldn’t know, and that would be a damn shame, because I think I speak for most NBA fans when I say that this is something I’d like to be aware of. Not everybody can afford to hold their pants up with diamonds and gold, and I can’t say I’ve ever known anybody to suspend their britches using a Road Runner buckle. I’m not a fan of the fruity-colored stones, nor would I ever suggest that such a ridiculous accessory is cool, but it’s certainly unique. I’ll give you that, TJ.

I’d love to find out what exactly inspired TJ Ford to go to a jeweler and request that he create a Road Runner belt buckle (pretty sure they don’t just have those in stock). Is he a huge fan of cartoons? Is it supposed to suggest that he’s fast? Is it a Texas thing? I have no idea. Tell us, TJ!
