Deron Williams has just finished dropping 50 big ones for his Turkish team, Besiktas, in a 105-94 win over BG Gottingen. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure 50 points is a lockout high. Wilson Chandler put up 43 in his CBA debut, but I haven’t heard about any NBAer hitting 50 in any game in any league thus far. European scoring totals tend to be low in comparison to the NBA, so a 50-point game is a major explosion. Deron shot 17-23 (7-10 from three), and you could say he was prime-Kobe-esque with one assist. Despite the fact that this was a Eurochallenge game (a step below Euroleague) against a crappy team, those are some damn impressive numbers.
