The Best Plays You’ve Never Seen Before, Featuring The Top 10 Lobs Of 02/03

Hello and welcome to another edition of TBPYNSB, my personal favorite variety of post on NBA247365.COM!  This edition will actually include 14 plays as the featured video is a countdown, so I suppose you can consider it special.  It includes some very interesting highlights, and I fully expect that it will satisfy your daily basketball needs.  I’m trying very hard to step it up as the NBA and it’s players continue to disappoint all of us.  I refuse to allow the ball to stop rolling!

Kicking things off will be Anderson Varejao.  Observe this extraordinary facial on Jermaine O’Neal, and take note of his braids…

I’ve got to give my friend Kumquat from the Insidehoops Forums some credit for unearthing this doozy.  Fantastic find!  As for Anderson’s braids… that is quite possibly the unmaliest hairdo I’ve ever seen on an NBA basketball player.  For a second I thought he was that Brittney Griner chick from Baylor.  They should feature Anderson in one of those “man up” Miller Lite commercials.

Next up is all-time great highlight maker Jason “WHIT EBOY” Williams with a pass that resulted in a Tony Massenburg brick.  One of the greatest almost assists ever…

I really do wish League Pass came with a Spanish commentator option.  Those dudes love to BRR like Gucci Mane.  BURR!

For the featured video I present to you the top 10 alley-oops of the 2002/03 season.  It’s probably the only alley-oop compilation you’ll ever see where Shaq throws more than he catches…

Note the Stromile Swift sighting at #3.  When’s the last time you saw a guy cock a lob like that?  My main man busted out his jet pack that day.

Next on the docket is Shawn Kemp, a frequent feature in these posts.  On this particular occasion he stifles a Dominique Wilkins shot attempt, then goes down to the other end and jackhammers one home…

Notice how the Clippers defender hightails it the hell out the vicinity as Shawn winds up to throw it down.  He wanted no part of what the Reign Man had in store, leaving the rim as the lone casualty.

Lastly, here’s Lamar Odom cramming on a prime Theo Ratliff, who was blocking upwards of three shots a night at the time…

Andre Miller shows you how to hit a man in-stride.  Such an underrated point guard.
