Stromile Swift Scores 22 Points, Dunks on Mark Madsen (2002)

Oh, Kobe Bryant also scored 56 points in three quarters.  Stro added 12 boards and a pair of swats to his aforementioned 22 big ones in this duel for the ages…

Before you move on to part three, be sure to pay attention at the 2:05 mark–clear the rest of those tabs, you shouldn’t be looking at that anyway–because that’s where Stromile Swift gets a nice back pick from Rodney Buford and pounds a lob from Shane Battier directly on top of Mark Madsen’s dome.

Unfortunately, the uploader of these videos must have decided that Stromile’s final 10 points weren’t important enough to warrant the inclusion of the fourth quarter, because it’s nowhere to be found.  The Lakers ended up winning by 39.  It appears that Mark Madsen and Slava Medvedenko (who’s full name is apparently Stanislav–lol) must have been putting in work down the stretch (combined for 17 points, 9 boards, and 3 blocks).

Fun fact: Kobe attempted another 30 shots in LA’s next game, but only managed to score 29 points.  Stromile Swift, on the other hand, was more efficient in his next outing.  He dropped 12 on 9 shot attempts.  Just sayin’.
