Games To Watch, Week 24

Monday, April 4th: College Basketball, 9:23 ET (why not go ahead and list the damn seconds too?), CBS

The NCAA men’s championship game is tonight, so there aren’t any NBA games.  I’ll probably half-conciously watch it, as I do annually… it’s usually the only college game I watch all year long.  So, who’s ready for turnovers, missed layups, and three-point bricks at the shot clock buzzer?!  “At least they try in college!  They don’t get paid, they just play for the love of the game!  And they play defense!!!!1″  F@ck outta here with that bullsh!t.  I’d rather watch the Bucks play the Wizards at the Bradley Center than watch college basketball.  Shit’s boring, period.

Tuesday, April 5th: Thunder @ Nuggets, 9:00 ET, FSOK ALT

Playoff preview?  I hope so.  That would be a damn good series.  Actually, I’m kind of hoping the Nuggs move up down (my bad) and face the Mavs, because I bet they’d win.  I could see them winning or losing to the Thunder.  Oh yeah, Blake Griffin plays the Grizzlies at 8:00, too.  Just a head up.

Wednesday, April 6th: Clippers @ Thunder, 8:00 ET, FSPT FSOK

Don’t even try to tell me this game isn’t meaningful.  I’m aware… I just don’t care.  Blake Griffin’s got five games to play and then he’s gone until October.  You best believe I’m watching all five of them, and I’m going to recommened that you watch at least a few of them.

Thursday, April 7th: Celtics @ Bulls, 8:00 ET, TNT

It looks like the Bulls have earned themself that #1 spot in the East (2.5/3 game lead over MIA/BOS as of today), but now they’re gunning for the best record in the entire league, so you best believe they’ll be playing their @sses off.  The Celtics are still struggling… but it should be a better game than Portland @ Utah.

Friday, April 8th: Nuggets @ Thunder, 8:00 ET, ALT2 FSOK

A rematch of Tuesday’s game!  I love it when good teams have to play each other twice in one week.  The loser of the first meeting always comes out looking for revenge in the second game, and it can get extremely intense, especially if the first one was hard-fought.

Saturday, April 9th: Clippers @ Rockets, 8:30 ET, FSPT KTXH

Yes, Ralph; these guys are fun to watch!

Sunday, April 10th: Celtics @ Heat, 3:30 ET, ABC

Can the Heat enter the playoffs with a win over the Boston Celtics?  I think this could be a big confidence builder for Miami as they may very well have to knock the Cs off at some point if they plan on winning a championship.
