As far as I know, Michael Beasley has become the first Minnesota Timberwolf to rock a ‘fro since the Ricky Davis era. Davis and Beasley have something else in common, too: they never let their hair run wild for more then one or two games. Out of nowhere they hit us with these tantalizing displays of epic swag, making us feel that there may actually be a reason to tune into future T-Wolf games (NBA basketball is like 10x more exciting per afro), but the boring braids always reappear just as suddenly as they left. No word on whether or not Super Cool plans to keep the afro for Friday’s game against the Hornets, but don’t get your hopes up.
