Monday, January 17th: Pacers @ Clippers, 3:30 ET, FSPT
If the Clippers don’t do it for you… to be perfectly honest, there’s something wrong with you. That being said, I know there are fans out there who will only watch the best teams. Boston and Orlando is a pretty solid alternative for that crowd. Kevin Garnett may return today, so if a heavyweight battle is what you’re looking for, then go with that game at 8:00. I’m going to go with the Clippers, because I always go with the Clippers. I’m yet to come away disappointed.
Tuesday, January 18th: Bobcats @ Bulls, 8:00 ET, SS CSCH
The Superbowl is coming up, I know you’ll watch that… but what about the Tyrus Thomas bowl! Plan a party, invite your friends, it’ll certainly be a blast! For serious: there’s only two games on this night, and the other one involves the Hawks… so CHA/CHI wins by default.
Wednesday, January 19th: Lakers @ Mavericks, 9:00 ET, ESPN
Dirk is back, so barring an ejection this should be a pretty good game. My main man DeShawn Stevenson will have his work cut out for him on this night. Number 24 has a history of torching the Mavs that goes all the way back to his days as number 8. I assume he will try to use his signature buffoonery to get into the head of the Mamba.
Thursday, January 20th: Clippers @ Blazers, 10:30 ET, TNT
Like I said, I always go with the Clippers. Blake Griffin is the f@cking man, but LaMarcus Aldridge is having a career season himself. Finesse meets power, which will prevail?
Friday, January 21st: Knicks @ Spurs, 8:00 ET, ESPN
Two of the league’s most potent offenses will try to put enough points on the board to come away with a victory. Based on the last time these two teams faced off, I imagine 110+ will be required to win this game. Buckets will be plentiful, defense will be nonexistent.
Saturday, January 22nd: Warriors @ Clippers, 10:30 ET, CSBA FSPT
The Clipps will be looking to avenge last week’s disappointing loss in the Bay. The Dubs can beat anyone on a given night, but it would be a major letdown to lose to the Warriors twice in two weeks. I don’t expect Blake and Eric to let that happen.
Sunday, January 23rd: Pacers @ Nuggets, 8:00 ET, FSIN ALT
