Eddy Curry Sinks A Clutch Three-Pointer In China

Little-known fact: Eddy Curry is the greatest three-point shooter of all-time.  Don’t believe me?  Check the stats.  Presently, Curry is ballin’ up a storm for the Zhejiang Golden Bulls of the Chinese Basketball Association.  Through four games with the team he averages an impressive 22 points and 12 rebounds, and the club has played some respectable .500 ball since his arrival.

On Friday, Curry played a crucial role in helping Zhejiang secure a big road victory over the Sharks of Shanghai.  With 22 points and 12 rebounds, his impact was felt in the box score.  More importantly, it was also felt down the stretch.  At the 2:27 mark of the fourth quarter, Curry knocked down a huge triple to put his Bulls up seven.  He followed it up with a tough layup, completing an individual 5-0 run that essentially locked up an eventual 97-94 W.

Clearly, Curry’s head coach is well aware that his big man used to be Isiah Thomas’s secret weapon.

Tell me now, which other player is a 100% shooter from beyond the arc in two different professional leagues?  And which of these players has proven to deliver in the clutch like Eddy Curry?  Like I said, the greatest three-point shooter of all-time.  Now you know.

Shout-out to my main man Andrew Crawford, who always keeps me informed on the CBA.
