POTD(s) 11/18 & 11/19/12: Terrence Jones & Derrick Favors

Due to me spending the majority of my Monday inside the confines of a moving vehicle that I was driving, I was unable to report Sunday’s Poster of the Day in a timely manner.  So I saved it for today.  In this post you will also find Monday’s poster, as well as a link to the updated list.  Thank you for your patience, readers!

For Sunday, Terrence Jones takes the cake for the following jam over fellow Kentucky alumnus Jodie Meeks.   Jones, who hasn’t played a whole lot this season, didn’t bother to pass the ball to a guard when no Laker blocked his path from three-quarters court to the basket.  At the last possible second, Meeks did set himself up to draw a charge… but the half-assed attempt proved insufficient as Jones blasted right through him for the one-handed stuff…

Honorable mention to Russell Westbrook, who could’ve been the winner with a better contest from Stephen Curry.

Dunk rating on the Starbury Nastiness Scale:

8.5/10

For Monday, Derrick Favors earns the honors with a two-handed reverse stuff between Patrick Patterson and Cole Aldrich.  With the help of a gorgeous back pick from his pal Gordon Hayward, Favors was able to get free on a cut to the basket, where he finished the play with authority…

Honorable mention to Rudy Gay.  Nice finish, but he quick dunked it before Faried really had a chance to contest.

Dunk rating on the Starbury Nastiness Scale:

7.5/10
