The Celtics won’t be taking a trip to Oklahoma City, but let no blame be placed on Brandon Bass, who made six of eight shots on his way to 16 points in last night’s elimination game. In the process, Bass avenged Dwyane Wade’s incredible game-five block with a two-handed monster mash in front of the Celtics bench.
Unfortunately for Bass, the 11-point lead his basket helped build would soon be eliminated, and the vigorous towel waving of the bench would come to a somber end. Still, it was an awfully nice dunk, and Brandon Bass played a fine game of basketball.
