POTD 5/7/12: Blake Griffin on Hamed Haddadi

Individually, Blake Griffin had been having a rough go of things throughout his first three playoff games.  He’d struggled to score in the post, failed to hit from the outside, and contributed heavily to one of the worst free-throwing performances in playoff history.  Still, the Clippers had the advantage in the series, and a strong, 30-point showing from Griffin helped LA’s other team take a commanding three games to one lead.  Blake really turned up the intensity after Zach Randolph got up in his mug, scoring at will (10-15 FG) over guys like Hamed Haddadi as Z-Bo was forced to take a seat due to foul trouble.  Griffin actually caught Haddadi a couple different times, so you can take your pick (1:55, 2:22).

I suppose I should make note of Matt Barnes’ jam from Sunday evening.  I didn’t post it because it was only worth 6.5 faces.

wow hes becoming the next big fundamental. he got some moves now. nice footwork.
and he finally folds his right hand properly when throwing a freethrow. that also looked better then before. and 7 assists! haters gonna hate, but hes far more then just one of the best dunkers in the league.
