Brandon Bass got away with a blatant three second violation, but I’m glad he did, because the no-call saved us from having a posterless Friday night…
Just some good old-fashioned hard work right there. Bass out-fought three Jazz players for the ball and still had enough juice to go straight up off his vert and posterize Paul Millsap. It’s not the type of dunk that’s going to make your jaw drop, but it’s the type that really gets the adrenaline flowing. It makes me want to go out in the driveway and act like Shaq on an eight foot hoop against my little brother. Unfortunately I can’t do that for two reasons: it’s 36 degrees outside, and “my little brother” is a 6’2 230 pound black dude. I’d most likely end up looking more like Derrick Coleman as he plays Shaq and rips the entire basket down.
