Notice that the title reads or, not on… although I kind of wish it said on. Anyway, both Javale McGee and Blake Griffin threw down top-notch dunks last night, but you know how the game works. There can only be one Poster of the Day, and on this day it’s Javale McGee on Jose Calderon. To summarize the play in a single sentence, Calderon tried to pull a James Jones and ended up getting Derek Fisher’d.
In this case, getting Derek Fisher’d is to be dunked to the floor. However, the term can also be used to refer to any situation where an old, washed-up point guard gets traded in a salary dump.
I went with Javale’s dunk because he leapt from the dotted line and obliterated Calderon. Simple as that. Blake’s dunk was obviously incredible, but Channing Frye was essentially able to duck it. Had he actually gone for the block, or tried to take a charge? Griffin wins with a 10/10. That’s not what happened, though, so Javale takes it.
In other poster news, Rudy Gay took the lead on the posterizer list with his 4th POTD (:52) on Tuesday night (6/10).

Throwback Poster of the Day: James Posey on Dwight Howard. That’s correct, James Posey on Dwight Howard…
