I imagine that Amare Stoudemire considers himself to be a pretty happening fella’. A quick google image search reveals photos of STAT rocking everything from scarves, to bow ties, to gold rope chains, to hipster specs. On one hand, I suppose his fashion sense could be considered exceptionally diverse… but on the other hand, it seems to lack a real identity. I mean, one minute he looks like your college classmate, and the next minute he’s dressed like your dad. He even swagger-jacked Craig Sager one time. So, does it surprise me that he’s giving diamond fronts a try? Not at all. I’m actually surprised it took him this long, seeing as gold grills peaked in popularity at least five years ago.

Sorry, Amare, but I can’t do any better than that. I’m a big advocate of iced-out teeth, but you didn’t play in ‘em like Ivan Johnson, and the rest of your get up really doesn’t go along with what’s happening in your mouth. I mean, a hooded sweater, a fedora, some sort of wooden necklace… and a set of diamond fronts? It’s like, WTF are those doing there? Cool teeth, but a confused look overall.
