POTD 2/18/12: Luol Deng on Shelden Williams

I wasn’t gonna post this dunk, but then I decided I should.  Why?  Firstly, because it was a pretty solid slam.  Secondly, because I can’t believe this will be Shelden’s first appearance on the posterized list this season, and I felt the need to point that out.  Thirdly, because I’ve got a doozy of a throwback poster for you today.  Be sure to check that out.

I suppose I also posted it simply because Luol Deng deserves some props.  Who else watched this dude rip Boston’s zone defense to shreds on Thursday?  He splashed a bunch of clutch Js, and he also racked up 10 assists.  Ultimately, Luol’s versatility on both ends of the floor has helped Chicago more than stay afloat during Rose’s absence, and although he struggled as the Bulls lost to the Nets last night, he’s had an excellent season.  I haven’t talked much about him, and I figured this would be a good excuse to do so.  Way to be, Luol!

Throwback Poster of the Day: I think this is the year of the dragon in China?  I could be wrong about that; I didn’t double check or anything.  Anyway, one thing’s for sure: whatever year it was when this dunk happened, that was the year of the BEAST!

Got DAMN, Yao!  I’d never seen that sh!t before.  Wow.
