Have you ever been playing basketball and gotten your hand stuck in your pocket? It’s happened to me before–multiple times, actually. I’ve also tried to shoot the ball and ended up with a finger tangled up in my drawstring. It’s a little embarrassing, and JR Smith takes preventative measures to make sure this will never happen to him again. It’s easy enough to keep your strings tucked in, but what about those darned pockets? Well, you can simply pull them out and let ‘em hang, or you can wear your sweats completely inside out. JR does the latter, and cuts them off just below the knee.

This is fly. It wouldn’t work with any article of clothing other than sweatpants, and it’s a must that they be turned into cut-off shorts… but JR’s pulling it off. I’ve rocked my sweats with the pockets flopped out before, but strictly for function, not fasion. This is a functional fashion statement. JR’s lady doesn’t appear to be very impressed, but what the f@ck does she know? She has tattoos all over her damn face.
