Poster of the Day 5/12/11: Smith on Noah

I know, I know, I normally don’t count a dunk during which the defender is never between the dunker and the basket… but I feel that I need to make an exception, so that’s what I’m doing.

Why do I feel the need to make an exception?  Because Noah reached across his body, fouled the sh!t out of him, and Josh dunked it anyway.  To me, that’s getting posterized.  Plus it was nasty… and I want to give Josh credit for being nasty to discourage him from shooting jumpers.  See, Josh, it’s all positive press when your shots are monster slams!

Dunk rating on the Starbury Nastiness Scale:

8/10 Starbury Nasty Faces.

2010/11 Daily Poster Stats.  If you’re wondering how Kevin Durant and Marc Gasol got on there, that was from a couple days ago.  I never posted it here.  I gave it seven faces.

Throwback Poster of the Day: Pretty sure I’ve never seen this before…
